LINGENHELD TRAVAUX PUBLICS

Président Directeur Général

Description

Georges LINGENHELD is at the head of the family business created by his grandfather in 1925 in the wood and coal trade. He took over the presidency of LINGENHELD in 1978 and directed the company towards Public Works. From the beginning of the 1990s, a pioneer in the environmental field, he developed the recycling of construction materials, “the second life of aggregates”. This activity now takes place on regional platforms in the Grand-Est, equipped with industrial processing tools designed to encourage recycling rather than disposal. Ten years later, the Group's activities are diversifying with the creation of a development division, now supplemented by real estate development. The first external growth took place in 2009 towards a still complementary activity that is deconstruction (demolition and asbestos removal). This activity was also bolstered by the acquisition in 2016 of a company specializing in armored walls and special foundations in Luxembourg. And in recent years, the group has also developed a subsidiary for the construction of methanation units by dry process. With its regional presence and even beyond the borders (Germany and Luxembourg), the LINGENHELD Group is today made up of around fifteen companies and has more than 600 employees, with a turnover of 220 million euros. €uros. At the head of this family dynasty, of which he has shared the executive for several decades with his son Franck, Georges LINGENHELD is the voice of the family transmission which must be prepared, anticipated and organized, convinced that a transmission well done is a guarantee of durability. In 2013, the Group won the National Sustainability/Transmission Prize awarded by the METI. Today, the Group continues to develop with the desire to be a corporate citizen that acts in favor of the ecological and energy transition of its territory. Thus the LINGENHELD Group is committed to the preservation of the environment, taking care to preserve natural resources.
