GRDF
Description
Created in 2007, GRDF is an independent subsidiary of ENGIE which brings together gas distribution activities in France.
Main operator of the gas distribution network in France, GRDF distributes gas, every day, to more than 11 million customers for heating, cooking, transport, regardless of their supplier.
To do this, in accordance with its public service missions, GRDF designs, builds, operates and maintains the largest distribution network in Europe (204,233 km) covering nearly 9,600 municipalities, guaranteeing the safety of people and property and the delivery quality.
With the rise of green gas, a renewable gas produced locally, the gas network is an essential link in the ecological transition. GRDF is an essential partner for local authorities to support them towards carbon neutrality through their choices of energy policies and sustainable mobility.
