Description

Gwénaël GUYONVARCH has been the Deputy Executive Director within the Regional Directorate of ADEME, the French Ecological Transition Agency, since January 1, 2020. After studying thermal engineering, earning a doctorate in fluid dynamics and transfers, and graduating from IAE Paris, he held various positions in engineering and in project and service management in the automotive sector. Gwénaël GUYONVARCH joined ADEME in 2006 as head of the industry department before moving into regional activities, serving as Regional Director for Ile-de-France from 2009 to 2013 and then as Interregional Director for the Northeast, then the West, until 2019. In his current role, he participates in defining the regional adaptation of the agency's policies and monitoring them as part of the management of regional directorates. He is particularly involved in the field of the circular economy and actions towards businesses and industry.
