Description
Elected in june 2020, anne-marie jean is a municipal councillor delegated to the city of strasbourg and vice-president in charge of employment, training, sustainable economy, ecological transition of companies, circular economy, and sustainable tourism for the eurometropole of strasbourg.
After graduating from hec, she held various executive and management positions in the insurance, agri-food, and la poste group sectors. she was elected to the alsace cci and the board of directors of medef alsace and was involved in business networks and competitiveness clusters. today, she is the general delegate of the la poste corporate foundation.
As an elected official for employment and the economy, anne-marie jean is the chair of the autonomous port of strasbourg and the maison de l'emploi of strasbourg; she represents the eurometropole of strasbourg on the board of directors of numerous organizations: agence de développement économique d'alsace, agence de développement et d'urbanisme de l'agglomération strasbourgeoise, schéma de cohérence territoriale, tourist office, comité local pour l'emploi... she is notably the political leader for the circular economy, an approach for which the eurometropole of strasbourg was awarded the adème's 4-star label in 2025. she has led national missions on sustainable urban logistics (2021) and the implementation of zfe (2022), and she is currently participating in the ambition france transports national conference opened by the prime minister on may 5, 2025.
