With 7.6 billion euros in Grand Est in 2022, public procurement is a strong lever for supporting the local economic fabric and ecological planning, in which the Region is engaged through Grand Est Région Verte. In light of the legislations of recent years, public procurement displays real ambitions on the environmental aspect and is essential as concrete support for the development and scaling up of responsible sectors in the region, such as bio-based or reuse. In order to support public buyers in this dynamic, an entire ecosystem is at work to strengthen links with local economic operators and the transformation of territories towards a circular and responsible economy.
