The automotive industry is still the most active branch of the transport sector and integrates plant fibers in the production of dashboards, door sections, bay pillars, wheel arches and boot bottoms. The transportation industry is also interested in biobased polymers, which can be used to meet certain specifications, such as scratch resistance for interior parts.
