Since November 2019, Ludmila Gautier has been Deputy Managing Director of ÉS Énergies Strasbourg, a marketing subsidiary of the ÉS group, employing 220 people, and in charge of the Marketing and Energy Transition Department. Energy transition and innovation are the red thread of his career within the EDF Group. Graduated with a doctorate in materials science from ENSAM Paris, she joined EDF in 2000 as a research engineer in the research and development center located in Moret-sur-Loing. She then joined the EIFER research institute, European Institute for Energy Research in Karlsruhe, in 2002. Within this European Economic Interest Grouping between EDF and the KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology) of 110 researchers, she worked initially on research subjects related to decentralized means of production (micro-cogeneration with fuel cells, electrolysis for the production of hydrogen), she evolved into management positions before taking over the management of the institute in 2013. In 2016, she joined the EDF Grand Est Regional Delegation, in charge of coordinating the EDF Group's business entities in the Alsace region, and responsible for leading Innovation and Energy Transition topics in conjunction with stakeholders in the ecosystem of the Grand Est Region on these subjects. Ludmila Gautier was President of the Haute Alsace Partnership Foundation (EDF - Haute Alsace University) from 2017 to 2021. Since 2020, she has held the following positions in various associations: Vice-President of the association Initiatives Durables for the promotion of a responsible economy, Vice-President of Grand Est Mobilité Electrique and President of ATEE (Association Technique Energies and Environment) Grand Est.
